Meet ‘America’s Got Talent’ Season 16 Winner Dustin Tavella

America’s Got Talent officially crowned their winner for season 16, Dustin Tavella. This magician is known for his uplifting, inspirational magic acts. He quickly had the heart of America, so it wasn’t really a surprise that he won the show. Although he told the audience a lot about himself during his performances, what else has he done?
Dustin walked on that stage as if he owned it in auditions. He seemed extremely comfortable since day one so does he have experience on stages this large? What is he going to do with the million dollars? Take this quiz to find out.
Dustin Tavella is truly a class act. Since he first stepped foot on to the AGT stage, I knew he had “it.” Although his magic is a bit different from other winners of the show, he still managed to impress the audience every time he went on stage.
He is going to go on to headline at Luxor in Las Vegas with some other popular AGT vets, and I’m sure he’ll do an amazing job there. It’s so obvious that Dustin has a bright future ahead of him, so I can’t wait to see where his talents take him.

Probably the biggest surprise of Dustin is that magic isn’t his only talent. He’s definitely an act that could be considered multi-talented since he also has released original songs on streaming platforms. This took me by surprise, but he totally could’ve won the show for his voice as well. One of his songs went viral because Selena Gomez posted a video showing choreography to one of his songs, how crazy is that!
After winning the show, he admitted in an interview that he had auditioned for AGT multiple times before this season.
On top of his talents, this winner has a strong support system. He has been married to Kari Gibson since 2018 and they recently adopted their first two kids together. I’ve officially decided that Dustin and his wife are relationship goals from seeing them on the show, and on his YouTube channel it’s pretty clear that their household is filled with loads of love.
During his first AGT act he shared that they had adopted their first son, Xander in February 2020. Xander is only the first of the two children Dustin and Kari currently have. The couple hopes to buy a big house and adopt more children in need with the million dollars from winning the show.
