The Voice Returns With Brand New Coach
NBC is preparing for the newest season of The Voice to premiere this September. Recently, the network released a new promotional video, featuring the newest judges Camila Cabello and Gwen Stefani. This clip gives us a taste of how the coaches will get along in the upcoming season.
The promo starts with Cabello discovering that someone has made a welcome banner and given her several gifts. Along with the celebratory decorations, the singer finds menacing attached note, saying she will “lose so bad.”
Later, Cabello found out that John Legend received a similar letter, telling him that he “should never come back” to the show. Cabello, Legend, and Stefani seem to suspect that Blake Shelton was the person who sent them these letters. It’s practically confirmed when host Carson Daly shows up, saying “stop crafting in my dressing room.”
The end of the promo shows all four judges lined up in their spinning red chairs, with Cabello singing her track “Bam Bam.” Fans speculate that the line up will be the same on the series, meaning Legend will shift to Kelly Clarkson’s seat. Cabello will sit between Shelton and Stefani. The Voice premieres on NBC on Monday, September 19 at 8 p.m. ET.
