Masked Singer’s Nick Cannon Opens Up About Kim Kardashian’s Surgeries And Body Insecurities [VIDEO]
Nick Cannon used to date Kim Kardashian back in the day, and he has not been shy about discussing their time together. He even shared his thoughts on her plastic surgery, saying he discouraged her from going under the knife.
In a 2018 interview with DJ Vlad, Nick discusses women’s choice to get procedures like butt implants, and shares what it was like to date Kim Kardashian before she altered her appearance.
Nick Cannon Talks About Kim Kardashian’s Plastic Surgery
“We used to talk about it,” Nick said of Kim’s interest in plastic surgery. “I used to tell her no.” He said that they were dating before she had any procedures done, as far as he knew.
He said he would tell Kim she was beautiful the way she was, when she told him she was “unhappy” with certain features like her nose. Nick told her to “embrace your flaws.”
“It’s unfortunate, man,” Nick said of the changes Kim has made to her appearance since then. “Because to me that’s all insecurity and not really loving yourself for who you are … Where’s the line between taking care of yourself and vanity?”
Kim has admitted to getting fillers and Botox in her face, but has denied other procedures like butt implants, even going so far as to have her rear end X-rayed to prove it. Nick seems to think she had something done to her nose, but Kim has said its changed appearance is due to makeup and having children.
What Does Nick Think About Women Getting Plastic Surgery?
In the same interview, Nick Cannon also shared his more general opinions about women getting plastic surgery, and he didn’t beat around the bush. He said he likes the way fake butts look, but not how they feel.
“It’s like fucking a couch,” Nick said, adding that they “don’t look real.” He added that he would rather a woman have a “fat transfer” to her backside, rather than implants. However, he added, “If this is what makes this woman happy, who am I to judge?”
Nick also reacted to Nicki Minaj’s comments comparing herself to Harriet Tubman. He said it was “not an intelligent statement,” arguing that the rapper “likes to say shit to get people riled up.” He added that a lot of entertainers feel the need to “say something of shock value to make their fans listen.”
It’s an ironic statement coming from the Masked Singer host, who is currently the center of controversy for making anti-Semitic remarks on his podcast. The comments led to his firing from MTV show Wild ‘n Out.
