Prediction: Is White Tiger on ‘The Masked Singer’ REALLY Rob Gronkowski? Our Prediction
The Masked Singer season 3 kicked off with a new group of contestants after the Super Bowl. And one may be familiar to football fans, if some of the guesses are right! The White Tiger is one “very, very, very tall” character. But who could it be under the mask?
Here are the clues and predictions for the White Tiger so far!
Clues On The Masked Singer Season 3
The first set of clues about the White Tiger say his entire life, he’s “sought out perfection.” He describes his costume as displaying “ultimate power.” He talks about his career full of accomplishments. A trophy is shown for “Ultimate Champion Clam Shucking: 51 Clams” It’s been a while since he’s done something that scared him. A board shows The Masked Singer tryouts on 5/3. His motivation is his fans, he relays as he takes a selfie with a fan. Then a poster is shown with three presidents on it, saying “Four score and seven years ago,” a nod to the Gettysburg Address.
Popular Guesses for the White Tiger
Ken Jeong guessed it was John Cena, which surprisingly isn’t his worst guess! Guest panelist Jamie Foxx thought it might be Rob Gronkowski or Michael Strahan. Meanwhile, Nicole Scherzinger predicted Jason Momoa. Online, the most popular guesses are John Cena, Rob Gronkowski, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Our Prediction & Clues Decoded
Though the panelists were more divided, the Internet seems to be set on one celebrity. And the facts agree with them! The White Tiger is…Rob Gronkowski!
That’s right, Jamie Foxx’s first guess was right! It’s Gronk!
Here are all the clues that line up. First of all, he’s a big guy. You can tell that just from his costume! And Gronk is 6’6″. Next, we see an “Ultimate Champion” trophy for “Clam Shucking.” Since Gronk played in New England, that fits! The 51 on the trophy, as well as the “5/3” on The Masked Singer tryouts poster, hint at two of the Super Bowls he won: Super Bowl LI and LIII. He mentions “getting in the ring,” which could be alluding to his three Super Bowl rings or the fact that he’s a wrestling fan and made an appearance on Wrestlemania. When he said he’d “smash the competition,” that could be referencing one of his signature moves, the Gronk Smash!
We also see a poster with presidents on it…or dare we say, Patriots?…and it says “four score and seven years ago.” Since a score is 20, four score and seven is 87, which also happens to be Rob Gronkowski’s jersey number. Finally, he closes the clues by saying, “Let’s party!” and Gronk is well known for his parting antics.
Did we miss any clues? There will be plenty more when The Masked Singer airs again on Wednesday at 8/7c on FOX.
