Broccoli’s clues + performance of “A Whole Lotta Shakin’ Going On” by Jerry Lee Lewis in The Masked Singer Season 4 Group C Kickoff

Clues on The Masked Singer Season 4

The Broccoli started off his first set of clues on “BRIKBROK” doing a dance challenge. He had 60M likes and 75 comments. Broccoli is then shown lounging next to a can of soup and two dogs who have peppers for bodies. We also see a treehouse. He says “a contest” started his career. Now he works with the “biggest artists.” A mariachi band is shown. Next, he is in a car with the license plate “LD1ESMN.” He’s been on “many stages,” but none of them have excited him more than this one. Broccoli then swings onto a stage, where he dances again.

Broccoli’s second clue package had him speaking in an Italian accent the whole time. His clues have a nod to GoodFellas, with a parody called “FoodFellas.” He pulls up to “COPABANANA” which has a “900” on it. Broccoli tells the story about being out with a friend. He’s sitting in a booth with red wine on the table and a framed photo of an acoustic guitar on the wall. He makes a Hawaiian pizza, which is done at 6:00am. Then, he says he “called the boss” and his number was 3-7-2-6-5. We see an anchor hanging behind him in the phone booth. After his second performance performance, Broccoli’s magic clue was a roulette wheel landed on Black 26.

Nicole thought it was Jason Derulo from the clues, but after hearing him sing guessed Bill Murray and Wayne Newton. Jenny said Jerry Springer and Henry Winkler were on her mind, but ultimately predicted Howie Mandel and Jason Alexander. Robin predicted Steve Guttenberg. Ken thought it might be Martin Short, who he’s hoped to see on the show for years, and Wayne Brady agreed with him. Many online agree it could be Martin Short, but have also guessed Wayne Newton and Paul Anka.

Our Prediction for The Broccoli On ‘The Masked Singer’ Is…

Looking at how specific Broccoli’s clues were, this one was easier to put together than other clues this season! That left us no choice but to predict that Broccoli is…

Paul Anka!

The voice lines up but so do all the clues! The TikTok references could allude to Paul Anka’s TikTok Tuesdays he’s posted on Instagram, or the fact that a remix of his song “Put Your Head on My Shoulder” has become a well-known song on the platform. Broccoli mentioned that he got his start from a contest and we saw multiple soup cans. Paul Anka won a Campbell’s Soup contest, which won him a trip to New York. He credits that trip with his decision to pursue music!

We saw a treehouse in the first clue package, which could be a nod to the episode of The Simpsons Paul Anka appeared in, called “Treehouse of Horror IV.” In the second set of clues, a “900” is shown on the COPABANANA. That is a hint at the 900 songs that Anka has written. There was also an anchor, which sounds like his last name!

And finally, gotta give credit where credit is due. Jenny actually figured out a big clue! “37265” on a sheet of paper did translate to Frank, but it was Frank Sinatra. Paul Anka wrote the lyrics to one of his most famous songs, “My Way.” Paul also sang a Spanish version that has become a Mariachi hit, called “A Mi Manera,” which explains the Mariachi band in his clues.
