Over the weekend, Marcelito posted a video to his YouTube channel in which he visits the hospital for chest pains. Check out the clip below, and read on to find out more about Marcelito’s health.
In the video, Marcelito explains that he’s paying a visit to St. Luke’s Medical Center. He says he’s there to have a check-up for his chest pain. This is something he’s been dealing with for a while, as he spoke about it in a recent interview.
During the semifinals of AGT: The Champions, Marcelito said he suffered chest pains before his performance and was worried he “might not be able to handle it.” However, he pushed through and put on an amazing performance of Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman’s “Time to Say Goodbye.”
Marcelito posted on Facebook in November of last year that he was “not feeling well” and had chest pain. He asked fans to pray that he received a “positive result.” He’s apparently still getting the issue checked out, based on this week’s video.
Marcelito didn’t give many details about the situation in his hospital vlog. However, he seemed in good spirits. Wearing sunglasses as he entered the hospital, he said he was “in disguise.” He also joked that he was going to have surgery. (He wasn’t.)
The singer also included funny music and sound effects throughout the video, in which he visits with a therapist named Carlo. Marcelito donned a hospital gown and explained that he would be receiving therapy on his back and chest.
Marcelito’s fans wished him well in the comments, with some saying they were praying for his health and encouraging him to take care of himself. We hope he’s well and look forward to what the future holds for him.
