Ludacris Explaining Loving ‘R. Kelly But Around His Daughters…’ Has Twitter OUTRAGED!

Ludacris finally cleared up that one jaw-dropping lyric during his Verzuz battle with Nelly. It sent the internet into a frenzy. In an interview with V-103 The People’s Station, Ludacris said that his words got misconstrued. This was after he previewed a song with lyrics saying that he loves child abuser R. Kelly.
Ludacris Says He Was Just Being Honest About The R.Kelly Situation
In this V-130 Radio interview, Ludacris said that during his Verzuz battle, he was speaking as if it was a conversation between friends. He feels like his words were misinterpreted. The rapper’s lyrics were “I love R. Kelly, but around my daughters, I’m not comfortable.” Ludacris reiterated the lyrics during the interview and thinks they are not as serious as people are making them out to be. He then asked the host how he himself interpreted the lyric. The host said that he thinks Luda loves R.Kelly’s music and appreciates everything he brought to the table. However, being that Ludacris is the father of four daughters, he would not want them around R.Kelly. Ludacris agreed with his interpretation.
R.Kelly is currently awaiting trial in New York. His charges include racketeering, transportation to engage in illegal sexual activity, and coercion of a minor to engage in illegal sexual activity, and several others. He is also awaiting a second trial in Illinois for separate sexual abuse allegations and is currently being held in the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Chicago.
It is completely understandable why people would question Ludacris’ mention of him in the song considering all of R.Kelly’s past wrong-doings.
