The sneak peek also promises a danger act involving flying arrows that will have judge Sofia Vergara covering her mouth in shock. We can’t wait to find out more when the Judge Cuts episode airs on Tuesday, July 28.

This season, the round will take place entirely in one episode. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the judges had to watch performances remotely, while seated outdoors and socially distancing.

What To Expect From ‘AGT’ Season 15 Judge Cuts

The good news is that judge Heidi Klum will be back for this season’s Judge Cuts episode, after having to leave the show temporarily due to illness. She’ll join the other judges for a socially distant episode watching acts on a giant screen.

While this round usually takes place over four episodes, this year it’s condensed into one, with 60 acts being judged. Some will reportedly be sent through without performing again.

“As bad as it is, you always have to find a solution to get back to work,” Simon Cowell said of this season’s changes. “I have sympathy for so many people in this situation, but if our show is an example, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. It’s different, but hopefully it will still be as popular.”
