This week on America's Got Talent, there were plenty of impressive auditions. None were more touching or emotional than Tyler Butler-Figueroa's though. He even earned Simon's Golden Buzzer! \n\n\n\nBut Simon's not the only one who was taken aback by his story and talent. American Idol winner and current coach on The Voice Kelly Clarkson also tweeted about Tyler!\n\n\n\n\nhttps:\/\/twitter.com\/kellyclarkson\/status\/1138947801302413312\n\n\n\n\nKelly shared that watching Tyler Butler-Figueroa made her cry! She also said that she hopes the two perform together one day. And that's not a stretch! Especially if he makes it far, we could even see that happen on the AGT stage. Kelly mentioned that she played violin as a kid too and that's what got her interested in doing music!\n\n\n\nTyler Butler-Figueroa has quite the inspiring story. He is 11 years old and has been playing violin for four years. Tyler starting playing violin because he was bullied in school for having cancer. He was diagnosed with leukemia when he was 4 years old. Because he lost his hair due to chemotherapy, many kids picked on him for being different. They spread rumors that he was contagious.\n\n\n\nBut all the bullying prompted Tyler to start playing violin. And the more he played, the better he got. He was suddenly full of energy and happiness! The music was an escape from all the bad going on in his life. This all led to his big, Golden Buzzer-earning audition on AGT.\n\n\n\n\nhttps:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=zYq6YZ9tx5s\n\n\n\n\nWe also had a chance to talk to Brian King Joseph, a violinist who made it to the Finals last season on AGT, about Tyler's act. He was encouraging of the young star and wished him all the best this season!\n\n\n\nTo watch Tyler Butler-Figueroa's full audition, the video is on our YouTube channel. And let's all just keep our fingers crossed that the Tyler\/Kelly Clarkson collaboration happens soon!
