Kelly Clarkson Makes Billie Eilish Song Her Own With Stunning Performance [VIDEO]
NBC Kelly Clarkson is once again proving why she is the queen of pop music with her latest cover of “My Future” by Billie Eilish. Kelly performed the song during the Kellyoke segment of The Kelly Clarkson Show and it will literally give you chills.

Kelly took on the hit song which Billie described as being about changing the world. “I have to keep reminding myself that the future is ours, and I know we want to do everything we can to make it better for everyone in the world” Billie said about the song. “Stay hopeful” she added in an email to her fans. It’s the perfect anthem for Kelly to sing as she is going through a divorce from her husband of nearly seven years, Brandon Blackstock.

Kelly is looking towards a new future as she starts this new chapter of her life. The Voice coach also received rave reviews from her fans. “When Kelly said she loves all genres, she wasn’t kidding” one fan commented. “She can literally sing anything.”

Kelly previously covered another Billie Eilish song “idontwannabeyouanymore.” Her vocal capabilities on this song were absolutely bone-chilling. The song has a bit more of a somber meaning about self-doubt and a lack of self-confidence. However, Kelly has been putting her best foot forwards during her divorce, even publicly talking about it on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
“We have four kids and divorce is never easy” she said during the season two premiere of her show. “And we’re both from divorced families so we know the best thing here is to protect our children and their little hearts.” With this aside, Kelly is still able to let music be a huge way to cope and allow her to express her emotions time and time again.
