Like so many of us, John Legend is dreaming about being able to go out again after quarantine. He recently shared what he misses most about life pre-pandemic, and it might surprise you.

John revealed during a recent episode of The Voice that he wishes he could go out to eat at a restaurant again. But as anyone who follows him and his wife Chrissy Teigen on social media will know, they’ve been having plenty of amazing meals at home.

John Legend Wants To Go To A Restaurant

During the first at-home episode of The Voice this season, host Carson Daly chatted with the coaches about how they’re holding up in quarantine. He asked John Legend to share the first thing he’ll do when all of this is over.

“I just wanna to go to a restaurant,” John said. “I wanna go out on a date. Eat some good Italian food and just drink wine and not have to worry about getting sick. That would be nice. It’d be nice to go out on a date.”

Carson pointed out that John’s having some pretty great at-home meals thanks to his wife. “According to your Instagram, Chrissy’s cooking up some meals for you,” he said.

“We love eating here,” John admitted. “But you miss going out.” After all, even Chrissy Teigen needs a break from cooking every once in a while.

Chrissy And John Have Been Cooking At Home

Chrissy Teigen has been cooking up a storm during quarantine. She frequently posts her progress on Instagram stories, and has even gone live on the account for her brand Cravings.

And she’s not the only talented cook in the house. In March, Chrissy and John appeared in bathrobes cooking John’s famous friend chicken. John even treated fans to some singing while he cooked. Check it out in the video above.

Of course, they’ve also been ordering in. Chrissy has tweeted about ordering McDonald’s, and they recently ordered fried chicken sandwiches for their son Miles’ second birthday celebration.
