Last night was the climactic second season finale of The Four. After battling both Leah Jenea, who he lost to in a challenge earlier this season, and Sharaya J, fellow original member of The Four, James Graham, the former boy band member from the UK, came out victorious. He was a front-runner from the start and secured the bag week after week! Plus, we saw some of the greatest performances of the entire season. If you haven’t watched it yet, here is the winner announcement:

Such an epic moment! And well deserved for both James and Sharaya J to be the last two standing. It is amazing that they were two of the original seated members of The Four this season! To be honest, I don’t think James winning was a surprise to anyone. According to our poll before the finale, 55% of the people who voted thought he would win. But from the responses online, it seems like most people weren’t upset by it either!

James received a lot of love from old friends too! Both Charlie Jones from the Stereo Kicks and Stephanie Zelaya, another OG member of The Four, tweeted their support after he won.

On the other hand, there will always be some unhappy viewers when these shows come to an end. A few fans thought that James should have lost in his rematch with Leah Jenea. But most fans who didn’t agree with the choice for winner sided with Sharaya J and said she deserved the trophy. She did hold her seat the entire season after all! Until her final battle with James last night, she had not been defeated in a challenge ALL SEASON. It’s no doubt that she’s a fighter and a force to be reckoned with. Her fans had some choice words for the show after the finale.

However, no matter how you break it down, the season finale was a happy event. In addition to the giving away the title, it was announced that Sharaya J beat cancer! Talk about a happy ending for everyone involved. Now we wait to see if Season 3 will be happening! All I can say is, we have our fingers crossed over here.
