Indian ‘AGT’ Danger Act Comes THIS CLOSE To Killing Each Other [VIDEO]

We’ve seen some pretty nail-biting AGT danger acts, but Bir Khalsa might be the most suspenseful of all. The group appeared on India’s Got Talent in 2009, and last year they took their wild stunts to the American stage.
“Don’t try this at home!” host Terry Crews repeatedly reminds viewers from off stage during Bir Khalsa’s performance. So if you happen to have a bunch of coconuts and a mallet lying around, don’t even think about it.
‘AGT’ Danger Act Bir Khalsa Scares The Judges
Bir Khalsa earned four “yes” votes in their audition for America’s Got Talent Season 14, which involved one group member smashing fruit around another member’s body while blindfolded.
Then during the Judge Cuts, the group went all out. The first trick involved balancing on a point that was sharp enough to slice through a watermelon. After that, member Kawaljit Singh smashed a block of ice resting on another member’s body, then hit his chest with the mallet for good measure.

The judges, including guest judge Dwyane Wade, could barely watch. “Is he okay?” Howie Mandel wondered about Jagdeep Singh (the tallest AGT contestant ever) after the stunt was over. The answer was apparently yes, as the group moved on to the next part of the act.
This bit involved smashing coconuts with a bat over Jagdeep’s head. While blindfolded, of course, because why not? At one point, Simon Cowell actually had to look away.
How Far Did Bir Khalsa Go In The Competition?
After the Judge Cuts, member Karamjit Singh left the group and was replaced by another performer. That didn’t stop them from making things even crazier in the quarterfinals.
HEIDI KLUM COMPLAINS ABOUT ALWAYS BEING THE TARGET OF DANGER ACTS
This time, a chainsaw was involved. The crowd shouted as Kawaljit (blindfolded, obviously) cut through a cucumber held between Jagdeep’s teeth. After that, they repeated the ice trick, but with a sword this time.
Although the judges were wowed by the performance, Bir Khalsa didn’t end up making it to the semifinals. However, they did bring their death-defying act to Romania’s Got Talent earlier this year.
