Incredible Blind Singer Has Most-Watched Audition Of All Time On ‘The Voice France’

Vincent Vinel was adopted from a Bulgarian orphanage when he was three years old. He grew a passion for music after deciding he was not going to let his visual impairments stand in the way of reaching his dreams. Vincent Vinel Completely Stunned With Rap Song On ‘The Voice France’

For his audition, Vincent took on “Lose Yourself” by Eminem. He put his own spin on the hit rap song by adding some super high notes in the beginning along with playing the piano. Immediately the coaches needed to know who was behind that incredibly unique voice. Vincent ended up getting a three-chair turn and ultimately ended up choosing to be on Team Mika.

People all over the world were enamored by Vincent’s audition. “The most INCREDIBLE audition I have ever seen on any of these shows.. this guy is a musical prodigy. The melody, key changes, grunts, yodels, tongue tricks, piano playing, all whilst practically blind…. WOW” wrote one person in the YouTube comments. “This man makes me watch his performance over and over again. I love his version” said another comment.

In the Battles, he went head to head against Guylaine. They performed “Love Me, Please Love Me” by Michel Polnareff and Vincent was declared the winner. In the next round Épreuves Ultimes, Vincent performed “Don’t Stop Believin'” by Journey.

He made it to the live shows where he stunned with his rendition of “Somebody To Love” by Queen. He went through to the Finals where he received third place. Singer Lisandro Cuxi ended up winning the season but only by a small margin.

Where Is He Now?

After appearing on The Voice France, Vincent wrote a book called “To Get Out of the Shadow.” It is a story about his life learning how to play the piano and finding a love for music. Vincent is constantly live streaming and posting YouTube videos about new music he is working on and covers of songs.

Vincent has released no shortage of original music since The Voice France. He has posted a ton of lyric videos on his YouTube channel as well.

Plus over on Instagram, he posts covers and original music almost daily. He is very social media savvy and knows how to give his fans everything they have ever wanted and more.
