Clarkson Goes Through Legal Battle with Ex-husband While Filming The Voice
Clarkson returned to The Voice after a legal battle with her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock. Although the couple decided to part ways in 2020, they are now going to the financial part of the split. It’s horrible to see her going through this tough situation while on The Voice. But hey, “What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Stronger” right Kelly?
A judge ruled Clarkson must pay Blackstock $195,601 in support monthly. That will end up amounting to around $2.4 million a year for spousal and child support. Clarkson was denied the opportunity to sell their ranch property in Montana in this hearing. So things really aren’t looking too bright for this star. The judge decided that Blackstock would be responsible for the property’s finances.
Even though Clarkson is going through such a rough time, she still brings smiles to the faces of others in her talk show. There’s no doubt that she will also be bringing smiles to the faces of The Voice contestants in this upcoming season.
