How Rob Kardashian Went From Hiding For Years To Finally Coming Back To The Spotlight
We can probably count on one hand how many times we have seen Rob Kardashian out in public over the past two years. The most private member of the Kardashian clan definitely keeps to himself, but recent pictures posted from sister Khloe Kardashian’s 36th birthday suggest that Rob is done hiding.
Rob Kardashian Made An Appearance At Khloe Kardashian’s Birthday Bash
Rob posted several pictures from Khloe’s birthday party including one with Scott Disick where he was seen enjoying a beer. He captioned the picture “Appreciate it.” He looked noticeably slimmer than he has in recent years. In another snap posted on Instagram, Rob posed with Khloe’s baby daddy Tristan Thompson and family friend Savas where he captioned the photo “woo back baby.” So, is Rob really ready to be back in the spotlight and on social media?
It appears that he is as he posed with older sister Kourtney Kardashian at the party and the pair were all smiles. These photos are the first full-body pictures he has posted since dressing up for Halloween with his three-year-old daughter Dream that he shares with ex Blac Chyna.
Is Rob Done Hiding For Good?
The 33-year-old has been on a bit of a weight loss journey since being diagnosed with diabetes in 2015. This led him to change up his lifestyle including training more and going on a more strict diet. Now that he is feeling healthier, it definitely seems like he is ready to be thrust back into the spotlight. Since he is always posting pictures of Dream, it’s easy to tell that he often goes over Khloe’s house for playdates with her two-year-old daughter True. Rob has always maintained a very close relationship with Khloe which we saw on the first few seasons of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. He posed for a pic with Khloe and their sister Kendall Jenner and looked like he was having a ball at the big birthday bash.
Rob’s Priority Is His Daughter Right Now
This is a huge step in the right direction for the star who did not attend sister Kim Kardashian’s wedding to Kanye West in 2014 because he feared that he would be photographed. “There were cameras at the airport on our trip there and I was very unhappy with the person I saw in all the pictures. I’m upset I missed my sister’s wedding but it was a personal decision” he told People back in 2016.
“Rob’s main priority has always been his daughter, Dream, and that’s the main reason he’s back in the gym,” a source told Entertainment Tonight in 2019. “Rob has struggled with staying healthy, but since Dream was born, he’s realized how much more important it is for him to get back into the gym and eating healthy.” It looks like that is ringing true to 2020 as a source told E! News that “Rob has been thriving during quarantine.”
