The upcoming season of CGT is the first time in 10 years that Canada has put on a Got Talent show on live TV. Mandel joined this upcoming series back in October 2021. At the time of the announcement, Citytv announced all of the judges and host, Lindsay Ell.

Canada’s Got Talent Releases Sneak Peek
This series premieres on Citytv on March 22 at 8/7c. This giant stage will see acts similar to the beloved series, America’s Got Talent. The new series lists dancers, singers, illusionist, comedians, and more in their description. The series has been sharing behind the scenes videos since filming in November 2021, but they’ve finally revealed the first teaser act.
Their teaser act features violinist Sebastien Savard. This violinist showed up to his audition in scrubs and explains that his day job is patient attendant. The teaser ended before the contestant began playing, but it’s evident that he knows how to play more than just the violin. On his YouTube channel, he has a video where he’s seen playing a total of 16 instruments in 2 minutes. I can’t wait to see how this contestant impresses the judges on the series itself. His YouTube videos clearly involve lots of editing, so I’m eager to see what he does on stage.
