Since the start of America’s Got Talent in 2006, the stage has seen millions upon millions of talented contestants. While some shine during their season, some become way bigger, migrating their stardom past the competition show.
Some of today’s biggest variety show stars launched their career as part of the America’s Got Talent show. While we wait to see which acts take the AGT stage on the first night of auditions, let’s remember some of the best acts to grace the stage in the history of the show.

America’s Got Talent Season 17 Premieres on NBC
America’s Got Talent season seventeen begins with its first set of auditions on Tuesday, May 31. The epic variety competition show is set to return with some fantastic acts. These acts include The Pack Drumline, Amazing Veranica and Her Incredible Friends, JoJo Siwa‘s group XOMG Pop, and more.
NBC ramped up fan excitement on May 20 with the release of their first look video. The fast paced, inspirational video featured plenty of diverse performances. While many acts are seen in the video, the most notable is Mayyas Dance Crew. This group appeared on Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions after winning Arab’s Got Talent in 2019.
The video ends by teasing Terry Crews Golden Buzzer of the season. Although the act is not shown on the screen, the host is seen slamming his down onto the buzzer after saying “All those bullies are gonna have to watch you succeed.”
America’s Got Talent airs new episodes every Tuesday from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
