American Song Contest Begins Semifinal Rounds
April 25 marks the beginning of American Song Contest‘s semifinal rounds. The competition is beginning the end with the 20 voted in singers, as well as two redemption songs. Two artists are able to comeback and redeem their song in the semifinals. Redemption songs are picked based off of the song’s popularity.
On April 18 it was announced that Wyoming’s artist, Ryan Charles, will return to the competition with “New Boot Goofin'” as a redemption song. Ryan was shockingly eliminated following his heat one performance. “New Boot Goofin'” went viral following its time on the American Song Contest stage. Nonetheless, fans continued to stream this song and ultimately earned it the redemption song spot. The song has earned over 300,000 streams on Spotify and over 218,000 on YouTube. Fans are excited to see Ryan return to the stage.
The American Song Contest semifinals begin on April 25 and conclude on May 2. Fans cannot wait to see which song returns as the second redemption song.
