Gigi Hadid Shows Off Baby Bump On Instagram
A few days ago, Gigi’s father Mohamed shared a family photo in which he hid the model’s baby bump with an emoji. This, combined with how Gigi looked in her last Instagram live, had fans wondering if she was trying to hide her belly.
Gigi said she’s been taking photos of her bump to send to friends and family and document her pregnancy for herself. However, she added that she would share more with fans in the future.
“I just am not rushed to do it,” she said, “and right now I just want to experience it … I just don’t want to worry about waking up every day during my pregnancy and worry about having to look cute or post something.”
She also explained that it might be hard to notice her belly from the front, but she unbuttoned her shirt and turned to the side to show just how big it actually is. She said she would let her belly “air out” while she talked, because it was hot outside.
When Did Gigi Announce Her Pregnancy?
News broke about Gigi Hadid’s pregnancy in April, and shortly thereafter she confirmed the news on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The 25-year-old thanked Jimmy for his congratulations.
“Obviously, you know, we wish we could’ve announced it on our own terms,” she added, “but we’re very excited and happy and grateful for everyone’s well wishes and support, so thank you.”
Gigi shared that it’s “a nice silver lining to be able to be home and together” during this time. Her mom Yolanda also shared her excitement around the same time, saying, “I’m excited to become Oma in September, especially after I lost my mom so recently.”
