Floyd Mayweather’s Daughter, Jirah, Posts About Being Suicidal After Mother’s Death

The Mayweather family has certainly been going through a lot of ups and downs lately. Floyd Mayweather’s daughter Yaya is looking at being in prison for life after stabbing her boyfriend’s baby mama. But now, his daughter Jirah Mayweather took to social media to post some alarming TikTok tributes to her mother who passed away.

Jirah Mayweather’s Mother Died Unexpectedly In March

Josie Harris, Jirah’s mom, was found dead in her car on March 10. She was only 40 years old. Information surrounding Josie’s death has been put on hold while the case is still pending an official investigation. Police suspect no foul play was involved in Josie’s death. But of course, when any child loses a parent it is obviously not easy.

Floyd posted several pictures on Instagram paying tribute to Josie and her unexpected death. Though the two were not together at the time of Josie’s death, they do share three children together. They had a very rocky relationship with each other. The boxer even served two months in jail for molesting Josie in front of her children after he entered her home in Vegas while she slept in 2010. She claimed that he was very physically abusive throughout their entire relationship. She was writing a book about domestic violence prior to her death to help victims that suffered the same things as her.

Jirah Mayweather Posted TikToks Saying She Misses Her Mom

Jirah had an emotional time getting ready for her first Easter without her mom. She posted a TikTok preparing for Easter dinner. She wore her mother’s sweater to honor her and make it feel like she was with the family while they ate. It is clear that her mother’s death had a huge impact on the entire family. In another emotional video, Jirah said she had the best mom in the world. She flashed a montage of pictures of her and her siblings with her mother. It is very clear that she misses her tremendously and we can’t even begin to imagine the grief she is going through.

She also threw a bit of shade at her father in another TikTok. She implied that her father thinks she is “stupid and useless.” She points to a picture of her father in the video while the lyrics “According to you/I’m stupid/I’m useless./I can’t do anything right. According to you/I’m difficult/Hard to please/Forever changing my mind” play in the background. She then proceeds to point to a picture of her mother while the lyrics “But according to him/I’m beautiful, incredible/ he can’t get me out of his head/ According to him I’m funny/ irresistible/ everything he ever wanted,” can be heard in the background. It seems like there may be some tension between Floyd and Jirah. She obviously loves her mother very much and is torn up over her death. It is unclear what may have transpired for Jirah to diss her father like this.

People Suggested That Jirah Might Need Help After Suffering This Loss

TikTok and Instagram comments came flooding in to support Jirah during this difficult time. One comment said “I promise you the pain gets easier. It doesn’t go away but it definitely gets easier.”

Jirah posted another video singing along to Logic’s song “1-800-273-8255 (Suicide Hotline).” She seemingly agrees to the lyrics of the song “I don’t want to be alive” and “I just want to die” numerous times. People are concerned by this video and even said that they hope her dad recognizes that his daughter needs to receive some kind of help or grief counseling.

We really do hope Jirah will find better ways to cope with the grief she is experiencing from her mother’s death. We also wish for her to form a better relationship with her father since he is now the only parent she has.
