First Look At ‘The Voice’ Season 19 Contestants

The Voice Season 19 is starting next week, and we’ll be introduced to a whole new group of talented contestants. Blind auditions were filmed earlier this year, with a virtual audience.
The good news is that you don’t have to wait until the show premieres to meet some of the contestants. Below, check out ten artists we’re excited to see when the next season of The Voice starts October 19 on NBC.
Meet ‘The Voice’ Season 19 Contestants
Tamara Jade
Tamara is featured in one of the previews for this season. She delivers a powerhouse performance that impresses the coaches. “You want someone that really moves everyone, and that’s you,” Kelly Clarkson tells her. Tamara replies, “From your mouth to God’s ears,” making the coaches laugh.

Ryan Gallagher
In previews, it looks like Ryan is singing opera for his audition, sparking Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton to fight over him. Ryan already has an impressive following, with over 30,000 followers on Instagram.
Payge Turner
This singer from Seattle released her first EP this year, called Sleep Walker. Based on her Instagram, she’s become friends with quite a few of her fellow contestants on this season of The Voice.
Taryn Papa
This country singer plays shows in Nashville. She recently shared a tour of her hotel room for The Voice auditions on her Instagram account. It will be interesting to see if she ends up on Team Blake or goes in a different direction.
Eli Zamora
This singer previously competed on the Mexican version of The Voice, so he has experience with the format. Many of his performances on social media are in Spanish, so we wonder if he’ll go with a Spanish song for his blind audition as well.

Ian Flanigan
This singer has been described as a “progressive folk guitar hero.” He recently announced on his Instagram that he and his girlfriend got engaged, so it’s been a pretty big year for him.
