Rodelle Borja, a Dublin-based nurse from the Philippines shakes off his nerves to sing an amazing rendition of Elvis’s ‘Can’t help falling in love with you’ on Ireland’s Got Talent.

The 29-year-old Borja went on the live audition show for Ireland’s Got Talent and chatted with the judges in halting English. The Filipino nurse told the judges that his stuttering ceases when he sings and then went ahead to show the world the amazing talent he had behind the speech disorder.
He told judges Louis, Michelle, Denise and Jason that he works in a Swords nursing home. Rodelle added that he practices his vocals by regularly singing to his patients.
He said: “Growing up with a stutter is difficult because I’m not confident when expressing myself through talking. I express myself better when singing.”
Rodelle started to sing Elvis Presley, “Can’t Help Falling In Love With You’ by overcoming his speech disorder on the stage of Ireland’s Got Talent.
Borja received a thunderous applause from the studio audience and a standing ovation, not just from the crowd but also from the four judges!
The IGT YouTube video titled “Nurse Rodelle from the Philippines shakes off his nerves to sing an amazing rendition of Elvis’s ‘Can’t help falling in love with you’” the video has now recorded over 7 million views.
“It was unbelievable, I didn’t expect it at all,” said Rodelle in the IGT tweet that was captioned, “We love Rodelle, what a superstar.”
