American Idol Season 17 runner-up Alejandro Aranda worried some of his fans this week when he started posting cryptic images on Instagram. Followers seemed concerned about his mental state.

Alejandro Aranda Posts Cryptic Instagram Photos
On Thursday night, Alejandro Aranda posted the message “I’LL DISAPPEAR COMPLETELY” on his Instagram stories. He later posted the same image and words on his grid. Other posts included phrases like “DOOM HOLOGRAM,” “FAKE SMILES,” and “GOODBYE FOREVER,” accompanied by strange images.
Fans wondered what the posts were about, with some seeming worried about Alejandro. “Oh my your music is one of a kind , please never disappear!!” one commenter wrote. “Cheer up. You’re important,” wrote another.
“Hope you’re okay bro,” another fan commented on Alejandro’s “GOODBYE FOREVER” post. “I hope this is music related, if not, please reach out to someone or suicide awareness, it’s not worth it,” another fan wrote. Others echoed this sentiment, with one writing, “Don’t scare us!”
Alejandro Cleared Things Up With His Fans
The concerned messages seem to have prompted Alejandro Aranda to inform fans, in the caption of his latest post, that the phrases he’s been sharing are “all song titles.” He confirmed with a fan in the comments that these are songs off his upcoming new album.
Those who saw Alejandro’s message expressed their excitement about getting new music from the talented singer. However, his method of promotion certainly scared quite a few people.
Alejandro came in second place last year on American Idol, losing to Laine Hardy. His loss angered a lot of fans, but Alejandro has been doing well in the months since. He released his debut album Exit Form last November. We’re glad he’s okay, and look forward to hearing his new music.
