Harry Gardner explains why ‘respect your elders’ is a statement worth keeping. Dedicating an original song to his grandmother with Alzheimers Disease, the singer had the judges and the audience in tears.
Did you know: After his Britain’s Got Talent audition aired, Harry set up a fundraiser page for Alzheimers awareness in honour of his grandmother, who passed away just days before the audition aired on TV.
Tyler Butler-Figueroa, ‘America’s Got Talent’
Tyler Butler-Figeuroa is a hero in both our eyes and his own. Fighting acute lymphoblastic leukaemia at an early age, his passion for music was still strong within him. Not long after, the 11 year old took to the AGT stage earning himself a golden buzzer from Simon Cowell. Tyler continued to grace us with his pop renditions all through the competition.
Did you know: Tyler raised money to get on AGT by busking. The young violinist raised over $2,000!
The Missing People Choir, ‘Britain’s Got Talent’
Loosing a family member is one of the hardest things someone can go through. However, when a family member just disappears, it’s nothing but heartbreaking. The Missing People Choir took to the BGT stage in 2017 to remind us that there’s nothing more important than family unity.
Did you know: Soon after their audition, one of the missing children aged 13 was found after he saw his photo on TV. Since then, 6 other children have also been found.
