Elderly Couple Prove Age Is Just A Number In Naughty Dance Act On ‘America’s Got Talent’ — Where Are They Now?
NBC We really have seen a little bit of everything on America’s Got Talent. From a man dressed in a dragon costume to a person getting shot out of a canon, nothing was as surprising as this act. Cuban couple Celina and Filiberto auditioned for season 13 when they were 66 and 70 years old. Nobody expected them to put on this naughty dance performance to Jason Derulo’s hit “Talk Dirty To Me.” Take a look at the hilarious yet impressive audition below.
Celina And Filiberto Showed Off Their Moves On ‘America’s Got Talent’
When we first were introduced to Celina and Filiberto, they looked like the happiest and most in-love couple on the planet. Filiberto immediately broke down in tears as he walked on the stage because he was overwhelmed by the number of people and support that was around him. Howie suggested that he was crying because of how much he loves his wife which is definitely adorable. It came as quite the shock when they began doing a series of raunchy dance moves. You would never expect a set of grandparents to do that. At one point Filiberto got down on the ground to do some pelvis thrusts and the crowd went wild. Mel B was not so into the act. She gave it a red buzzer, but the couple did not let that stop them from slaying the America’s Got Talent stage.
They got a standing ovation from the judges and were sent to the Judge Cuts. Celina and Filiberto dressed in sunglasses and heavy gold chains for their next performance and even did a bit of choreography. They were praised for stepping it up and won Mel B over for having an actual routine with backup dancers. Simon Cowell said that he loved that they were just having fun because that’s what America’s Got Talent is about. Unfortunately, given the stiff competition that year, they did not advance on to the live shows.
Where Are They Now?
The couple are still dancing and living their best lives! They were invited to the Spanish dance competition show Mira Quien Baila and showed off their epic dance skills in between commercial breaks.
Their fame on America’s Got Talent also led them to make several talk show and radio show appearances including iHeart Radio Latino.
Filiberto has also gotten into the TikTok game posting this hilarious video nearly nude.
They also participated in the iconic “Flip The Switch” challenge where they swapped clothes in this hilarious video. They definitely take the cake for the best version of this challenge, just look at Filiberto’s smooth moves wearing that dress!
