Dr.Phil Begs Fans To Stop Calling Him ‘Daddy’ On All Of His Posts
Why are people calling Dr.Phil “daddy” on all of his posts? Is it his charming mannerisms, the way he knows how to talk out all of life’s problems? Or is it the Southern accent? Something makes him charming enough for Gen Z to claim him as their “daddy.” He posted a TikTok politely asking people to stop commenting the moniker on all of his posts.
Dr.Phil’s Latest TikTok Is A Plea For Fans To Stop Calling Him ‘Daddy’
In the now-viral TikTok, the television personality says “You have to stop commenting ‘daddy’ on all of my posts.” He continues “I ain’t your daddy. Hate to break it to you, but I ain’t your daddy.” Something about this is extremely wholesome but also hilarious at the same time. “Your real daddy is probably getting his feelings hurt,” he said. “I appreciate the support. It’s a little weird, but I do appreciate the support.”
According to Her Norm, “Most people use the nickname ‘daddy’ as a sexual term in a dominant and submissive relationship. This is probably where you have heard it most often. It’s often referred to as a kink.” So yeah, it might be a little weird that younger people are commenting this under the 70-year-olds posts. Still are you able to tell if this is creepy or not? Yeah, neither can we.
People Think It’s Hilarious That He Made A Video To Address These Comments
People are freaking out that Dr.Phil actually made a TikTok to address the overwhelming amount of “daddy” comments. “The fact TikTok calls Dr.Phil daddy so much that he had to address it has me dead” said one Twitter user. If you look at the comments on his previous TikTok’s you will see a ton of “daddy” comments.
“The highlight of my day was seeing Dr. Phil say people gotta stop commenting daddy on his posts,” said another.
“TELL ME WHY I OPEN UP TIKTOK TONIGHT AND THE FIRST DAMN VIDEO IS DR PHIL SAYING YOU HAVE TO STOP COMMENTING DADDY ON ALL OF MY VIDEOS,” another Twitter user said.
“You ever been jealous of Dr. Phil bc people comment Daddy on his post and not yours” said another all too real tweet.
Dr.Phil Has Taken On Some Viral TikTok Challenges
Dr.Phil also took on the slo-mo walking challenge on TikTok along with his wife Robin. The pair wore masks as they were side by side giving the people what they want. And by people, we mean his 4.4 million TikTok followers.
He also made another video asking why people keep commenting the word “simp” on his posts. He begged for his followers to tell him what it means. According to Bustle, it means “a man who puts too much value on a woman for no reason.”
