Do You Remember If These Celebrities Judged ‘American Idol’ or Coached ‘The Voice’?

Do you think you’re the ultimate fan of your favorite shows? Being an ultimate fan is more than remembering the singers on American Idol or The Voice. It’s about remembering which celebrities were judges or coaches on the shows.
If you’re a fan of American Idol or The Voice, this quiz is for you. American Idol and The Voice have both surpassed 15 seasons on air and have seen some of the biggest celebrity names at their panels. See how many of these celebrities have really been on your favorite talent show with this quiz.
American Idol has kept their judging panel the same since the series returned to television. In 2018 the show returned to cable on a different network, ABC. Since the show’s season 16 return, Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan have sat at the judging panel.
The Voice differs from American Idol‘s pattern. Even though original coach Blake Shelton still apart of the series, the show has switched out the other coaches in the past 21 seasons. The season 21 coaching panel consisted of Shelton, John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, and Ariana Grande. Other than Shelton, Clarkson has had the longest run of the bunch. She has been on the series since 2018.
The Voice Will Not Return To NBC This Fall
Recently, The Voice switched to a once a year format. Since The Voice will not premiere this spring, NBC has not announced who the coaches on Season 22 of The Voice will be. In the spring, Clarkson will be returning to NBC with former mega mentor, Snoop Dogg. Together they will be hosting the brand new series, American Song Contest.
American Song Contest is a live competition show featuring one artist from each of the 50 states, five territories and Washington D.C. Each artist is competing for the award of “best original song.” With high stakes, tons of competitors and a national stage, I can’t wait to see what is brought to the table. This competition begins on March 21, live on NBC.
