Did This ‘Got Talent’ Contestant Really Use Human Butts As Drums? [VIDEO]
Just when we thought we have seen it all on talent shows, there are always acts that continue to surprise us. Jorge Pérez, a butt drummer, auditioned for Ukraine’s Got Talent with an act truly unlike anything we have ever seen before. Check out his audition below because it will probably make you laugh or wince in pain.
Jorge Pérez Brought Butt Drumming To ‘Ukraine’s Got Talent’
In this act, four people covered their faces and laid with their butts in the air so Jorge could literally use them as drums. They sat between a drum set so that Jorge could use a combination of butts and real drums to create a beat. It honestly is so weird and so amusing at the same time and definitely looked like it hurt.

Major props to the four people that agree to take part in this act. At the end, all four people got up and danced around the stage as Jorge played his drums and the judges were in a state of enjoyment and confusion. It may or may not come as a surprise that this act was not one that the judges deemed worthy of the top prize of 1,000,000 Ukrainian hryvnia.
Jorge also unsuccessfully took this butt drumming act to France’s Got Talent where he received two red buzzers from the judges. They were not as impressed with this act and the audience actually began booing him. His audition currently has 4.3 million views on YouTube, so if anything it seems like people at home enjoyed it.
While Jorge’s videos have gone viral on YouTube, it begs the question of whether or not this act is appropriate for the ‘Got Talent’ franchise. The shows are all supposed to be family-friendly and there are tons of young viewers at home that tune in each week to watch. Do you think this act is appropriate for ‘Got Talent’ shows?
Where Is Jorge Now?
Jorge founded a band called Patax, an entire community of musicians who fuse Flamenco, funk and Afro-Cuban influences. But here, percussionists are certainly the star of the show in this blend of cultures. And get this, Jorge actually uses real drums, and not just peoples butts! Check out this drum video he posted on Instagram playing some new drums.
Patax performed about four months ago in Madrid, Spain in the most recent videos posted on the band’s YouTube account. You can see Jorge playing the drums over towards the far right of the screen.
They have continued to post their performances on Instagram as well, playing shows for staggered audiences amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Patax played at a venue called Isla & Ritmo where attendees wore face masks and sat in staggered seats to adhere to social distancing guidelines.
