Modern day music includes a great mix of talent, but how did these people step into fame? Let’s take a look at some of the biggest singers in the 21st century. Did these popular singers get their start on American Idol?
American Idol began in 2002 and has been producing stars ever since. The show had 19 seasons on FOX and will be returning for their fifth season on ABC early next year. Even if you’ve only seen part of the series, I’m sure you’ll ace this quiz!

When you click on the landing page you’ll see all of the audition dates spread out on the screen. Once you click your state, you can make an account and sign up for a time slot. You will receive a Zoom link in an e-mail for this audition. Don’t freak out if today’s the day for your audition, you can still register.
If you don’t want the stress of a zoom audition, you could instead opt to do a video submission. For the video submission, you must answer a series of questions (video and text) and then record your singing performance. It’s pretty simple, just make sure you can be heard! Who knows, maybe you’ll be a part of the next American Idol singers to make this list!
