Did Gigi Hadid Secretly Give Birth? Here’s What Fans Noticed
Supermodel Gigi Hadid is expecting her first child with boyfriend Zayn Malik, and some fans are speculating that she may have already given birth. Social media posts from Gigi’s father and sister got the rumors going.
Gigi’s mother Yolanda previously confirmed that her daughter was due to give birth in September, so fans’ guesses weren’t too far-fetched. Read on to find out why fans think the new bundle of joy has already arrived.
Fans Think Gigi Hadid Already Gave Birth
Fans latched onto an Instagram post from Gigi’s father Mohamed Hadid earlier this week. He posted a letter to his grandchild on Wednesday, in which he wrote, “Hello little grandchild, it is me, my heart as happy as can be.” Mohamed has since deleted the post.
A recent post from Gigi’s sister Bella Hadid also sparked speculation that the baby had already arrived. She posted a throwback photo standing next to Gigi as they showed off their bellies. Bella joked that her “bun in the oven” was from a burger.
But it was the end of the caption that got fans talking. Bella wrote, “i love you both so freaking much -can’tstopcrying.” Fans thought she was implying that she cried happy tears over Bella giving birth.
Neither Gigi nor Zayn has posted a new photo on Instagram in several days. They also haven’t posted on their Twitter accounts since the weekend.
Gigi’s Dad Clears Up The Confusion
It looks like we’ll have to wait a little longer to welcome Gigi and Zayn’s baby into the world. Since posting his letter, Mohamed Hadid has shot down rumors that Gigi has given birth.
Us Weekly reports that an Instagram commenter asked him on Wednesday whether the baby was here, and he replied, “No, not yet.”
In July, Gigi responded to fans who thought she was trying to hide her baby bump. She said she had been documenting her pregnancy for herself, but showed off her bare belly during an Instagram Live.
“I just am not rushed to do it,” she said of sharing her pregnancy with fans, “and right now I just want to experience it … I just don’t want to worry about waking up every day during my pregnancy and worry about having to look cute or post something.”
