NBC Songland is back with another episode tonight and it is filled with some Latin flavor. Artist Luis Fonsi is looking for his next spunky hit that will top the success from hit song “Despacito.” Take a look at the preview for the episode that was just released featuring artist PipoBeats.
PipoBeats Is A Rising Latin Artist
PipoBeats came in hot with his song “Sway.” This rising Chilean artist sings in both English and Spanish and shows off some hip-swaying action as he belts his tune. After the performance, you can hear producer Shane McAnally say “play it again.” This song had all of the producers dancing in their seats. Even the band was moving to the music. This song sounds exactly like something Fonsi would sing. It has a good rhythm that people would want to dance to at a concert or even a club. Fonsi called the song “musical caffeine.”

Some of her songs have even appeared on the hit show Riverdale. Her voice is super calming. If she performs a ballad for Fonsi, she might have a real shot at impressing him. Dyson Is An Established Songwriter
Lauren Dyson who goes simply by the name Dyson, is a singer-songwriter from the United Kingdom. She has written songs for South Korean boy band BTS. In 2017 she was chosen to perform at the Grammy Showcase in Hollywood. She currently lives in Los Angeles and is seeking a career as a solo artist. Dyson actually co-wrote a Korean song and ended up winning a Japanese Grammy. She currently works with Universal Music Publishing Group Sweden. CORii Is A Powerhouse Vocalist
CORii sings a mixture of rock, pop and R&B and may just be exactly what Luis Fonsi needs for his next big hit. In a Facebook post, she said she wrote “the dopest song” for Songland. She often posts her original music on Instagram and YouTube and has a voice that is similar to Alanis Morisette. It seems like appearing on the show will be just what she needs to launch her singer-songwriter career and take her to the next level.
