We told you the other day that Darci Lynne Farmer sang a Christmas duet with her mom without the use of a puppet. Well, she did it again. Darci Lynne was performing in her native Oklahoma at the Criterion Theater as part of her Darci Lynne Homecoming Show. Then she came out with her hands unsheathed.
She sang the Mariah Carey classic All I want for Christmas is You with family band Pelican212. It’s interesting that Darci Lynne is venturing outside of puppetry and ventriloquism more. After all, she said she took up puppetry in the first place as a way of singing without being the center of attention due to shyness.
Either way, it’s clear that she has an amazing voice with or without puppets. I wonder if the day is coming when she’ll ditch the puppets all together.
