Country Music Awards Reunite ‘American Idol’ Alums
The Country Music Awards premiere tomorrow and Idol alums will make up most of the star studded crowd. Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley will co-host the awards for the eleventh time.
The expecting mother (Underwood) is also up for the Female Artist of the Year award. This is going to be a big year for the country music star! Ever since her win on the 4th season of American Idol, Underwood stole the hearts of many and continues to be a force to be reckoned within the industry.
Idol fans can also expect season 10 runner-up Lauren Alaina to make an appearance on and off of the stage. Tomorrow could be a huge night for the 24 year old, as she is up for New Artist of the Year. Alaina will also be performing and we can’t wait for that! Side note…it’s great to see people that didn’t take the title of THE American Idol still #winning. Top 40 contestant Jimmie Allen will also be at the CMA’s presenting an award to a country music hopeful.
Our favorite Idol judge Lionel Richie will be handing out an award, and Luke Bryan will also hit the stage to perform a fan favorite. Like Underwood, Bryan is also up for a new title, Entertainer of the Year. Now all we’re missing is Katy!
Bobby Bones who was just announced as an in-house Idol mentor will also be presenting a trophy. Honestly, how do we get a ticket to the show?
We can’t wait to tune in to see what other Idol stars made the guest list! The show airs tomorrow Nov 14 on ABC at 8/7 p.m. CT. Let us know who you hope to see win!
