BIO: Sundance Head became a household name because of his country sound and fun personality. He was a fan favorite throughout the entirety of The Voice season 11. He first made it onto the iTunes charts during the Top 10, but remained to chart in each following week of the competition. It was no surprise that this Team Blake Country star took home the grand prize.
Head comes from musical upbringings, his father, Ray Head was a part of the band The Traits. At 20 years old Head was given the opportunity to record with ZZ Top, but he instead decided to play music professionally 13 years later with his band, Sundance Head. Ahead of The Voice, Head competed on American Idol season six and placed in the Top 16.
Following The Voice, Head signed to Republic Records he went on to release two singles before departing from the company. His most recent release was an album dropped in 2019. Head is still married to his wife of 17 years, Misty.
