BIO: Sawyer Fredericks was invited by Talent Scouts from The Voice after they noticed his videos on YouTube. During his audition, he played the traditional folk song “I’m a Man of Constant Sorrow,” ahead of the series he adapted the song to perform while playing on the streets. All four judges turned their chairs for Fredericks and he chose Pharell Wiliams as his coach. Republic records states that Fredericks broke series sales records for The Voice with ten singles reaching the iTunes top 10 and 14 singles charting in the Top 200.
After signing to Republic Records, Fredericks performed live around the country. In 2016 he released his debut album, A Good Storm. He released several singles with Republic Records before announcing his departure from the label as his management team. He’s independently released music ever since.
