BIO: Lizzo rose to fame following the popularity of her single “Truth Hurts” on TikTok in 2019. In the same year the singer won three Grammy Awards and was named entertainer of the year by Time Magazine. In 2022, this pop star appeared as a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race season 14 and premiered her own talent show Watch out for the Big Grrrls in 2022.

Lizzo began in music as a flutist. She took lessons with the renowned music teacher Claudia Momen from the age of ten, until her high school graduation. At the age of 14, she created a musical group called Cornrow Clique, which included her friends at the time. The name Lizzo was born in this group, it was inspired by Jay-Z’s song “Izzo (H.O.V.A.). Lizzo studied classical music in college, then went on to perform with the electro soul-pop group Lizzo and the Larva ink in Minneapolis. In 2013, she released her first album, Lizzobangers.
