BIO: Jennifer Lopez joined the cast of American Idol in season 10 (2011) and remained part of the judging panel in seasons 11, 13, and 15. In her first season, fans praised her and Steven Tyler for reviving the show.

Lopez was a professional dancer in the comedy television series In Living Color, featuring Jamie Foxx and Jim Carrey. She left Living In Color to be a backup dancer for Janet Jackson. Instead of touring with Jackson, she landed a role on the TV show South Central. Lopez gained mainstream attention as the star of the 1995 film Money Train.

In 1997, Lopez was cast as Selena Quintanilla-Pérez in the biopic Selena. After starring in this film, she launched her music career in 1999. Lopez has released nine studio albums and has starred in 33 films.

Lopez married first husband, Ojani Noa in February 1997 to 1998. She later married her former backup dancer from September 2001 to June 2002. In June 2004, Lopez married singer Marc Anthony. Lopez gave birth to their children, twins, Maximilian David and Emme Maribel in 2008. Anthony and Lopez divorced in 2011. After dating baseball player Alex Rodriguez the two became engaged, but broke up in 2020 after rumors that Rodriguez cheated on Lopez. She then got back together with Ben Affleck who she previously dated from 2002 to 2004. Lopez is currently engaged to Affleck.
