BIO: Declan Donnelly is best known for working alongside Ant McPartlin as the presenting duo Ant & Dec. These men have hosted Britain's Got Talent since the series beginning in 2007. Donelly’s career in television began at the age of 12 on CBBC’s show Byker Grove. In this series he met Ant McPartlin. Soon after, the two formed the duo, Ant & Dec. Together they present children’s and unscripted television shows.
Donnelly proposed to the duo’s manager, Ali Astall, in 2014 after one year of dating. They wed in August 2015 at a ceremony conducted by his brother, his comedy partner was his best man. Astall gave birth to their first child, Isla Elizabeth Anne in 2018.
