BIO: Caleb Johnson is among the American Idol winners that had auditioned for the series multiple times before winning. This singer auditioned for seasons 10 and 11 before winning 13 in 2014. In prior years, Johnson succeeded past the audition round, but never past the Top 42. After winning American Idol, Johnson worked on his debut album, which was released in August 2014.
Johnson became interested in singing at 17 years old after being asked to sing lead in rock band Elijah Hooker. The band released their self-titled debut album in June 2013. Even though Johnson split paths with his record company in 2015, he’s still gone on to release a ton of music. He released two albums in 2019 and 2021, as well as four singles.
