McPartlin debuted on television on the children’s program Why Don’t You? In 1988. His big break came at the same time as his presenting partner, Donnelly. The two rose to fame in the CBBC series Byker Grove. Since then, they’ve continued to work together as Ant & Dec in children’s and unscripted television.
McPartlin married makeup artist Lisa Armstrong in July 2006. They were married for 11 years before announcing their divorce in January 2018. Soon after their separation, McPartlin began dating his former personal assistant, Anne-Marie Corbett. The couple wed in August 2021.
