Yanawut Jarearnartiput, otherwise known as Pearja, completely slayed her performance of “Taki Taki” by DJ Snake during her Blind Audition for The Voice Thailand. Her fiery personality and ability to sing in Spanish had the coaches falling in love with her during this epic four-chair turn. Take a look at her unforgettable 2019 audition below.
Pearja Brought Some Sexy Choreography To ‘The Voice Thailand’
During her performance, Pearja did not hesitate to bust out some sexy choreography. She was grinding and at one point even got low to the ground to twerk. Her outfit and energy combined truly made this performance exciting and fun. The fishnet stockings ripped jeans and fiery red hair made her look like she was born for stardom. It felt like viewers were at her concert and not just an audition for a talent competition show.
All four coaches turned their chairs and joined in on the fun, completely in awe at her stage presence. Pop Pongkool was actually blocked so Pearja had three coaches to choose from. Ultimately, she felt a connection to JoeyBoy and ended up choosing to be on Team Joey. Each week she upped her game and added more dance moves to her spunky performances. Coach Joey was her biggest supporter and encouraged her to be herself, never afraid to push boundaries.
During her performance of “Bang Bang” at the Live Shows, she did a split at the end of the performance. She separated herself from the pack by always incorporating intricate choreography to her performances.
She even got to do an energetic disco-inspired duet with Joey during the Live Shows. The performance ended with him doing a split just like Pearja had done in the weeks prior. It was funny and quirky and explained the amazing musical relationship they built while he mentored her throughout the show.
Pearja made it all the way to the finale of The Voice Thailand, but it was Eakkamon Bunphothong who ended up taking home the win.
Where Is She Now?
Pearja has continued on with her music career after appearing on The Voice Thailand. She was recently the opening act for DA Endorphine who has been her idol since she was a teenager.
Pearja also performed at “an experimental concert by Chang connection with TTT, where you can drive Tuktuk inside a concert and watch us from your own Tuktuk.” New social distancing rules have been implemented that have prevented audiences from gathering at music venues. But, that hasn’t stopped Pearja from entertaining her fans in an innovative way.
She was also recently the opening act for Boy Peacemaker.
Pearja’s coach Joey has gone on to produce some of her original music. She has posted numerous music videos and tracks to her YouTube channel. Her channel currently has over 46,000 subscribers and she also posts choreography videos, travel vlogs and makeup tutorials.
