Dan Naturman began performing stand-up comedy in law school and made it to America’s Got Talent semifinals in season 9. Five years ago he was eliminated because his comedy act that consisted of joking about his dating life, unnecessarily learning Italian. he compared Americans not learning other languages to people who can see choosing not to learn braille.
Simon buzzed the act, Howie gave it a standing ovation
Tonight Dan’s performance on ‘AGT: Champions’ was a stand-up routine about what becoming an uncle for the fifth time, Facebook ruining high school reunions and how much easier dating is. Simon Cowell buzzed the act, yes he buzzed it without watching. the entire act but Howie Mandel gave him a standing ovation at the end.

The audience was laughing and although it is yet to be seen if he will make it to the next round (compared to other acts, we don’t think he will).

Simon’s reaction to the performance was “you judge this show in a different context, you’ve got to walk away for the end of the night and remember things, i saw and heard that blew my mind and that didn’t…”
If you think that’s harsh, for Simon that is subtle. So really, think again.
But Dan was not having any of it and nor was the audience that was booing Simon after he was done talking.
“Music business your opinion is gold and in the world of comedy, I don’t think you know your ass from your elbow…”
