Children’s Choir Makes The Audiences Hearts Melt In Moving ‘America’s Got Talent’ Audition
Voices of Hope Children’s Choir is a non-profit organization that auditioned for season 13 of America’s Got Talent. The group at the time was made up of over 70 children ages 5-17 from all backgrounds. They were on a mission to win ‘AGT’ and put money back into the program so they could give more children the same experience. Check our their emotional audition below.
Voices Of Hope Children’s Choir Made Their Mark On ‘America’s Got Talent’
The children belted their hearts out to “This Is Me” with several soloists featured in the performance. “Well I absolutely adore you guys,” Heidi Klum said as she complimented the solo vocalists. Mel B liked the performance but suggested that they had to up their game if they made it into the next round. Howie Mandel also praised the performance but had some hesitations when it came to whether or not it was a million-dollar act. “I love your choice of song,” Simon Cowell said. We all know he is a big fan of The Greatest Showman. He agreed that they have to step it up and practice more if they made it into the next round.
Howie gave them a no while the other three judges gave them a yes. And regardless of what the judges thought, Voices of Hope Children’s Choir made a long-lasting impression on the applauding audience. During Judge Cuts, guest judge Ken Jeong was so impressed with their cover of “How Far I’ll Go” from the Disney film Moana that he gave them his Golden Buzzer. They jumped and cried happy tears as the judges agreed they were one of the most improved acts of the entire season. They were later eliminated in the semi-finals after they failed to get enough votes in the Dunkin’ Save.
Where Are They Now?
Since appearing on America’s Got Talent, they came back for a guest performance on ‘AGT: The Champions.’ They performed with Britain’s Got Talent winner Tokio Myers in an unforgettable performance.
