Before we get into this, yes. That lone voice left at the end is none other than Chevel Shepherd! We love seeing her highlighted in this project. Megan Linsey, a finalist on Team Blake in Season 8, is also one of the top-line acts mentioned.
This song is part of a musical film called “ONE Life.” It is an anthem for climate change, telling the story of devastation to celebration through music and art. Chevel is a small part of a project shedding light on a global issue. The director posted a behind-the-scenes look at the musical film as well!
Though Chevel has received some negative comments online for her involvement, she says she is “blessed to be a voice in the movement.” And, on the opposite side, other fans are supporting her and thanking her for encouraging fans to “take back the planet.” The website promotes saving electricity, reducing the amount of paper and plastic you use, and recycling, among other solutions to reverse global warming.
