BTS Is Coming Up With A New Documentary Series — Here Are The Details
BTS Army, get ready for a new documentary series about your favorite group. The K-pop boy band is reportedly releasing a new behind-the-scenes look at their lives.
According to Teen Vogue, fans on Twitter noted that Big Hit Three Sixty, a subset of the company that manages BTS, filed a request for a documentary series, with the first two episodes pending approval from the Korean Music Copyright Association.
Did BTS Already Reveal The Documentary?
The series is reportedly called Break the Silence and follows previous documentaries Burn the Stage (2018) and Bring the Soul (2019). Are you noticing a pattern? All the titles have the initials BTS.
BTS may have already given away that the documentary was on the way back in August of last year. It was during a live video with members RM and Jimin, during their hiatus.
“The show isn’t out yet, right? The one where we talk about our vacation?” RM let slip, prompting Jimin to respond, “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” RM then told fans, “There are a lot of behind stories but I guess we will be able to share them with you later on.”
What Has BTS Been Up To?
It’s a good time to be a BTS fan, and the upcoming docu-series will undoubtedly have a lot of exciting content. The group just released their new album Map of the Soul: 7, as well as a music video for their singles “ON” and “Black Swan.”
The band is also starting their world tour in April. However, they had to cancel several shows in South Korea due to the coronavirus outbreak. North American tour dates are due to start next month, so we’ll have to see if the problem continues.
