BTS Army Showers Jin With Love On His Birthday But He Did WHAT Back For His Fans!?

BTS fans have taken to Twitter to wish group member Jin a happy birthday. The singer turns 28 years old on Friday, and he gave fans a little present back in the form of a new solo song.

To accompany the song, Jin shared a letter to fans in which he explained the feelings surrounding it, saying he’s been “burnt out” recently. Give the track a listen below, and read on to see what fans are saying.

BTS Singer Jin Releases New Song ‘Abyss’

Jin’s new song “Abyss” already has over 2 million views on YouTube. The singer shows off his solo vocals on the dreamy ballad. According to a translation, the track features lyrics like, “I hold my breath as I walk into the ocean / I face my beautiful yet sorrowful tears / It’s just another day in the darkness.”

According to Metro, in a letter to fans posted on the BTS website, Jin wrote that he has felt “severely burnt out” and “had a lot of thoughts about himself.” He said he usually only likes to share “good things” with fans.

“However, I feel differently if it’s through music,” he wrote. “I don’t like to share it through my everyday actions, but I think it would be okay to show them through music.”

“I had a hard time, so I wanted to put everything down,” Jin explained, admitting that it’s “a depressing song that doesn’t fit on your birthday” but asking fans to “please listen carefully.”

BTS fans made sure they took to Twitter to wish Jin a happy birthday. They even got #HappyBirthdayJin and #BTSJIN trending on the platform with their celebratory tweets. They shared artwork and their favorite photos and clips.

Fans also shared their thoughts about Jin’s new song “Abyss.” They expressed their appreciation for Jin sharing his “dark emotions” with fans, with one saying “it shows how much he loves and trusts us.” Another fan called it a “beautiful gift.”
