Brother-Sister Salsa Dancers SHOCK The ‘AGT’ Judges [VIDEO]

The AGT judges were stunned by brother-sister dancing duo Junior and Emily Alabi in 2017. The pair showed off a fast-paced salsa routine that had the crowd going wild.
Junior and Emily had previously auditioned for the show in Season 3, and chose to return in Season 12. They shared the touching story of how they say dance saved their lives.
Junior & Emily Audition For ‘AGT’
Junior and Emily were raised by a single father who encouraged them to take dance lessons to help them stay out of trouble. Junior said he hung out with a “bad crowd,” and was even arrested at one point.

“It was heartbreaking,” Emily said, tearing up. “I would cry a lot. We have a very special bond, and I felt like I lost my brother. It was tough, because he’s my everything.” She added that dance “saved both of our lives.”
The duo went on to wow the judges with a fast-paced routine in which Junior spun Emily around quickly, and they both showed off incredible footwork. All four AGT judges gave them a standing ovation.
How Far Did Junior & Emily Go?
“It was so exciting,” Mel B told the pair after their audition. “My God, you are so precise. Brilliant. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.” Simon Cowell, meanwhile said he could see their determination, adding that people like them make the show special.
All four judges voted yes to send the siblings to the next round. They made it all the way to the quarterfinals of Season 12, where they showed off acrobatic moves not seen in their audition. Unfortunately, they didn’t make it to the semifinals.
