Britney Spears’ Surprise New Music Video Has Dropped And Twitter Will Never Be The Same
Instagram Britney Spears is back! The singer surprised fans with the release of a new bonus track from her 2016 album Glory. The song, called “Mood Ring,” was previously only available in Japan.
It’s been almost four years since fans have gotten new music from the pop star, and they were obviously excited about it. Especially when the song reached No. 1 on the iTunes chart.

The cover art for Britney’s latest release is also an alternate cover for her album Glory. Britney shared the sexy shot on Instagram earlier this month in honor of the album returning to the top of the iTunes chart. “Couldn’t have done it without you all!” she wrote.
Britney’s fans on Twitter love the song, calling it “sensual” and praising her vocals and the song’s production. They made sure to show their support by purchasing the song on iTunes, sending it to the No. 1 spot.

Fans were thrilled to learn that their idol had made it to the top of the chart, calling her the “queen of pop.” They were especially impressed that Britney could do this with a four-year-old song, in under 24 hours.
When Is Britney Spears Releasing More Music?
Fans are obviously waiting with bated breath for Britney to release more music. But her younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears recently gave an update, and it doesn’t sound like we should expect a new album any time soon.

Jamie Lynn says Britney is “relaxing” now. “And I think that’s good. Britney deserves that. She’s worked her ass off,” she said. “So if she wants to make another album, great. But if she doesn’t feel like it, she doesn’t have to. She’s given the world a lot. I don’t think there are plans for anything — at the moment.”
She clarified that Britney is not “retiring,” adding, “I don’t think you can ever retire someone from their passion.”
