It’s Day 4 of Britain’s Got Talent and there are eight more acts vying for a place in the finals. David mentioned he might like to see a dance act be one of the two to move on today, since we haven’t seen one advance yet this series. Will this be the night? Let’s take a look at all of tonight’s performances.
Tons of mini celebrity lookalikes including Elvis Presley, Freddie Mercury, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, and more joined in this dance party with awesome choreography. The judges were very impressed, especially Simon, who said they were one of the best acts we’ve seen.
Ursula sang and played “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You” and “I Put a Spell on You” on the harp as she told a unique love story about she and….well, her harp. Simon buzzed, but even he couldn’t hold back his smile, and David thought it was really fun.
Kerr sang “Rocketman” and Alesha complimented him on the charisma and charm of his performance. Amanda mentioned he needed to work on diction, but she really liked it too.
Graeme did a bunch of comedy-magic bits in his set, and while it wasn’t as strong as his audition, the fire part was pretty cool. After his performance he revealed to Simon his dream of becoming a talk show host, and we think that role would suit him very well!
These two did a beautiful aerial dance routine with a lovely nighttime set-up complete with a full moon which really added to the ambiance. They got high praise from the judges, along with claims this could be an act taken around the world.
Jimmy brought Simon and David up to the stage and had the two of them have a “conversation” via ventriloquy masks and his character voice abilities. Of course, some wacky hijinks ensued, and while Amanda and Alesha were thoroughly entertained, Simon was honestly a pretty poor sport about it all.
Ben decided to take a big risk with his act this evening. Gone was the dark and mysterious set-up on stage and the creepy vibe; it was just him and his magic tonight. Our only complaint about this act was that it was much shorter than we would have liked it to be. The tricks were absolutely brilliant, and the delivery was also great. Sky high praise from the judges, of course.
Mark sang “You Will Be Found” from the musical Dear Evan Hansen. Simon said it was a “leading man moment” for him, and the other judges were absolutely blown away.
And with that, it is time to VOTE! Find out about the various methods of doing so here. Our predictions for the two acts going to the finals tonight are Ben Hart and Mark McMullan, though a couple of others could definitely play spoiler to that outcome. Be sure to tune back in at 9:30 for the results and a performance by BTS!
